1 John Chapters 1 & 2 (The Key Passage is 1 John 1:7)

As Christians, we have found the light, but the world around us still dwells in darkness. Darkness comes in many forms, but it is always the opposite of God's best. God is light. He exposes darkness with light. Those who are spiritually blind walk in darkness. They are on a sinful path. If they had the light, they would turn and take another path -- the path that leads to heaven. At times, you may feel as if you are in the dark. Depression may overtake you. You may feel he God has left you. He hasn't. It is at those times that you must rely on the truth of scripture. God has promised never to leave you. He has rescued you from sin and set you on a path of righteousness. Remember in the darkness what you know to be true in the light.
